Sky Aviation Insurance Services

Aviation insurance built around how you fly.

What you fly is only part of the story. Who flies it, how it is used, and where it goes all matter. We help aircraft owners and aviation businesses review coverage with those details in mind.

Aircraft owners / Operators / Aviation businesses

Coverage starts with context

Tell us how you use the aircraft. We will start there.

An aircraft insurance policy needs to account for more than a make, model, and hull value. Pilot qualifications, flight activity, passengers, and operating territory can all affect the conversation. Sky Aviation Insurance Services brings those details into the review before you make a decision.

Built for aviation

Discuss aircraft and operational risks with a team whose work centers on aviation.

Terms you can examine

Look beyond the premium to limits, conditions, and the way the aircraft will be used.

A conversation that continues

Revisit the policy when your aircraft, pilots, or operation changes.

Aircraft & operation coverage

Find the right starting point.

Owners, flight departments, and ground operations do not have the same risk profile. Choose the path that sounds most like yours, and we can discuss the details from there.

01 / Aircraft owners

Private aircraft insurance

Coverage conversations for privately owned aircraft, including jets and turboprops. Start with the aircraft, its pilots, how it is flown, and the protection you want to evaluate.

Business aircraft

For company aircraft and corporate flight activity, the review must account for the people, the use, and the limits your operation needs.

Aviation businesses

FBOs, maintenance facilities, flight schools, aircraft dealers, and other aviation businesses face risks that need their own review.

How the conversation works

First, we understand the risk.

Insurance decisions are easier when you can see what an underwriter needs to know and what the policy actually says. We begin with a focused review, then walk through the options with you.

01

Tell us what is changing

A purchase, renewal, new pilot, different route, or new business activity can all start the conversation.

02

Review the exposure and options

We gather the aircraft and operational details, then discuss available coverage and the terms that matter to you.

03

Make an informed choice

Compare the policy details with your actual operation, and know what to revisit as the operation changes.

Beyond the premium

The details can change the answer.

Two similar aircraft may need different conversations. These are some of the first things worth discussing when you review a policy or prepare to buy.

01

The aircraft

Model, value, modifications, and how it is stored.

02

The pilots

Qualifications, training, and who is permitted to fly.

03

The operation

Private, business, instruction, charter, or another use.

04

The route

Where the aircraft will fly and any territory restrictions.

A useful next step

Buying an aircraft or reviewing a renewal?

Bring us the situation you are working through. We can start with the coverage questions that matter for that aircraft and operation.

Coverage beyond aviation

Before you decide

Questions that deserve a straight answer.

Coverage depends on the policy and the operation. These are starting points for a useful conversation and do not replace reading the actual terms.

Can you review insurance before I buy an aircraft?

Yes. The aircraft, intended use, and pilot information can be discussed before a purchase so you understand the questions an insurer may ask and the coverage options available to consider.

Is the premium the only number I should compare?

No. Also look at the hull value, liability limits, deductibles, pilot requirements, permitted use, and territory. The terms of a quote need to be read together.

What if the pilots or operation change later?

Tell your insurance contact before the change takes effect. A new pilot, different use, or travel outside the usual area may need a policy review or approval from the insurer.
